I AM AN… APPLE

Remember the saying, “An apple a day keeps the doctor away?” Well, like many sayings, this one happens to be mostly true. We are, in fact, very, very good for you. Researchers have said we may reduce the risk of colon, prostate, and lung cancer. We’re a rich source of antioxidant compounds. We may also help combat heart disease, promote weight loss, and our fiber can assist in controlling cholesterol.

I AM AN ONION

These days most people’s minds do not wander to greatness when they think of the onion. Ah, but that was not always the case. There have been many times through the course of time that we have been viewed as a very important vegetable indeed.

I Am A… Cucumber

I am a cheerful member of the cucumber family, one that includes such relatives as the watermelon, and various kinds of squash. Although people usually think of us as vegetables, we’re actually fruit—a creeping vine.

I AM A….. STRAWBERRY

Hello – Sherry Strawberry here. I’m happy to introduce you to my family – we’re probably the world’s favorite berry, so we’re worth getting to know!

I AM A……….GINGER

I may be a little strange looking to some with my knobby arms and legs but don’t let that fool you. Looks aren’t everything, remember don’t judge a book by its cover! You are going to be very surprised to find out how healthy I am for you and then you may look at me in a different light. I am so good for you I’m not even sure where to start.

I AM A ……SUNFLOWER SEED

I may be pretty but there is so much more you don’t know about me; you will be dazzled by my health benefits. Just a scant handful of my little seeds can dramatically improve the way you feel.

I AM A ………TURMERIC ROOT

I have a peppery, warm and bitter flavor and a mild fragrance slightly reminiscent of orange and ginger. While I am best known as one of the ingredients used to make curry, I give ballpark mustard its bright yellow color, yes, I am beautiful too!

OOLONG TEA AND COCONUT WATER QUOTIDIAN

First thing in the morning I drink a large mug of Oolong Tea (great for weight loss), then I drink a large mug of ginger tea (antibiotic and anti-inflammatory), then I drink a large mug of half coconut water (low in calories, naturally fat and cholesterol free, more potassium than four bananas, and super hydrating) and half spring water.
